Alhassan Abass was born in Gushegu in the Northern region of Ghana on 10 TH March 1985.
Hehad his primary education at the Markazia primary school and then continued to the Gushegu secondary school where he studied General Arts. Having the passion for teaching, he continued to the Bagabaga College of Education and obtained a Diploma in Business Education(DBE).
He currently teaches at his Alma mater, the Markazia primary school.
He is contesting as a parliamentary candidate on the ticket of the Progressive People’s Party.
Alhassan is sadden by the fact that since the inception of the fourth republic, the people of the Gushegu constituency have not seen much development in the areas of proper healthcare, quality education and other social amenities. As such, being a native of the area and witnessing such shortfalls firsthand, he draws much inspiration from this and knows the people deserve better in this area.
Hence, he will ensure the people of Gushegu enjoy quality health care, free compulsory education, good drinking water, and have good employment when elected as Member of Parliament.
